As we celebrate America’s 250th Anniversary, I can’t help but reflect on how truly grateful I am to call the United States my home.
Becoming a U.S. citizen in 2008 was one of the happiest and most meaningful moments of my life. It took years of hard work, patience, and determination, but every step was worth it. Holding my U.S. passport is an honor that I will never take for granted.
This country has given me incredible opportunities, the freedom to pursue my dreams, and the chance to build a beautiful life. It also led me to meeting my wonderful husband, Dennis, and to becoming part of a caring community that I now proudly call family.
As we celebrate 250 years of our nation, I’m filled with gratitude for the people, the opportunities, and the freedoms that make America so special.
